Parents often ask what actually happens between drop-off and pickup. Here's an honest walkthrough of a typical day, 9 AM to 1 PM, Monday to Friday.
The first hour: settling in
The day opens gently no rushing straight into "lessons." Children arrive, settle into their classroom, and move into a short circle-time routine: a rhyme, a story, or simple conversation. This matters more than it sounds; a calm start shapes the rest of the day.
Mid-morning: the core subjects
This is when the structured part of the curriculum happens Sensory, Math, English and EVS for Nursery through UKG (Pre-Writing, Communication and Vocabulary for Pre-Nursery). Lessons are built around our first pillar, Learning Through Play: hands-on materials, activity corners and guided exploration rather than sitting still and listening.
Snack and free play
A break for a snack, followed by supervised free play building blocks, sorting games, picture books. This isn't "downtime" in the way it sounds; a lot of social skill-building happens here, informally.
Late morning: reading and language
Time set aside specifically for our third pillar, Reading By Six phonics, letter sounds, vocabulary building, and (for LKG and UKG) actual sentence reading and writing practice.
Wind-down and pickup
The day closes with a short recap activity often a story or a simple review of what was learned before pickup at 1:00 PM. For families who need it, Half Day Care (1:00–4:00 PM) and Full Day Care (1:00–6:30 PM) continue the same calm. From January 2027, we'll also offer Half Day Care (1:00–4:00 PM) and Full Day Care (1:00–6:30 PM) for families who need it, Monday to Friday — more details closer to launch.
Throughout the day, our second pillar Small By Design is less a moment and more a constant: because batch sizes are kept deliberately small, teachers genuinely know where each child is, all day, not just at pickup.
